Our name was chosen to declare God’s disposition of mercy toward sinners. The greatest evidence of His great heart of mercy was displayed in Jesus’ death on Mount Calvary, thus our name MercyHill.

We understand Jesus Christ to be the central figure of the Bible and our primary message. This understanding of Scripture compels us to see sinners turn to Christ for forgiveness of sin and see our world transformed by the profound power and truth of the Gospel.
